MOUTHS FULL OF MEMORIES !
So , YES - a new blog ! This seems to happen a lot but Iv'e decided as I am entering a new phase of my life I want to write things differently and share more relating to food - some recipes, some amazing food memories and stories .
Transporting me back to childhood , back to amazing moments of travel , first encounters , late nights out with friends , cold mornings by a fire , BBQ's on the beach , Cooking in the back of a VW van ( don't laugh!) , fabulous restaurant experiences , feasts with friends under ancient old oak trees , a time warp back to my grandmothers kitchen table - the list is endless .
We all LOVE to eat - if not then you won't be reading this blog ! And of course we love to cook ! Or at least I do !
Cooking is like Alchemy to me , a meditative space of creation which is enhanced by some great music and a even better glass of wine !
And then the part where it is Appeciated - although it disappears and is eaten in matters of minutes - these moments shared are precious and makes me feel so much Love ! This is where the magic happens ! With friends and families and sometimes random strangers .
My gift to my friends and family is to cook as long as someone is pouring the wine and someone is helping with dishes !
Besides cooking , traveling is my other love - new cultures , new encounters and of course new ingredients and food to explore . I have been profoundly blessed with being able to do both in this lifetime .
